Back in mid-July, the New York Yankees had a 10-game lead on the Baltimore Orioles and the Tampa Bay Rays in the American League East. Now, with just twenty-five games remaining in the 2012 regular season, the Yankees and Orioles are tied for the lead, with the Rays only two games behind.
