Two champions will be crowned today at the Times Union Center as the venue hosts both the women's and men's MAAC tournament championship. Yesterday, Coach Ali Jacques and her Siena Saints team lost in the semi-final round to the Marist Red Foxes. Marist will now tip off against Quinnipiac at 2:30pm. The Bobcats enter the game as the regular season conference champions, and winners of two of the past three conference tournaments, No matter the result of the match up, these schools will have combined to win thirteen of the past fifteen MAAC championship tournaments.

At 7pm, the men's champion will be decided as Iona takes on Fairfield. The top three seeds in the men's bracket (Rider, Canisius, and Niagara) were knocked out of the tournament before the semi final round. The Fairfield Stags enter tonight's game as the sixth seed in the conference and are hoping for their first NCAA tournament bid since 1997. As for the Iona Gaels, this game marks their sixth straight appearance in the conference title game. A victory would give the Gaels a third straight MAAC tournament championship.
