Will Brown Says UAlbany is Going There to Beat UK

Armen and Levack were live from the JP Honsinger fundraiser on Monday afternoon. And there, they caught up with several local sports figures, including UAlbany men's basketball coach Will Brown.

Brown and his UAlbany Great Danes open up the college basketball on Friday night on the road at Kentucky. UK is ranked No. 1 in the country but Brown isn't afraid to talk about his goals for the game.

"We're going there to win," he said.

When asked what Brown likes about this year's team, he said his team has great guardplay. UAlbany returns Evan Singletary, Ray Sanders and Peter Hooley and all three are all-conference selections in the America East.

Brown said that guards are the key to success in the America East for the most part so he's happy his team has depth at that position.

Furthermore, Armen and Levack broke down Kentucky with him. The Wildcats have the potential No.1 overall pick in the next TWO NBA drafts on their roster.

That game is Friday night at 7 p.m.
