Shen graduate Kevin Huerter made the US U-18 National Team and will compete at the FIBA World Championships in Chile from July 19-23. The Maryland-bound recruit solidified himself as one of the top young players in the country with the selection.

How big a deal is this? Carmelo Anthony, Kyrie Irving, Grant Hill and Andre Iguodala have all played for the U-18 Team.

We brought in Maryland assistant basketball coach Dustin Clark this week to talk about Huerter's inclusion on the roster -- and his future at Maryland. We asked what kind of role Huerter may have in his first year in College Park and talked about what made him so attractive to the Terrapins in the first place.
