The Albany Empire lost to the Washington Valor last weekend 47-40 officially ending the Empire's inguraal season. The Valor's aggregate score lead, advanced t hem to the championship game this Saturday where they will take on the Baltimore Brigade. The Brigade swept their series with the Philadelphia Soul to punch their ticket to the title game. The Brigade will enter Saturday's match up with a 9-5 record while the Valor stand at just 3-11 on the year. Although home field advantage was determined by attendance figures through out the season, Washington is unable to host to the title game because of construction at the Capital One Arena. The appearance of the Brigade and Valor in the Arena Bowl may be a sign of good things to come for the Empire in 2019. Both the Brigade and Valor were expansion teams in 2017 and made the title game the following season.

Kickoff is set for Saturday at 7pm at the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore. Despite the Albany Empire not playing in the game, will you be watching this year's Arena Bowl? Let us know below.
