Kentucky C Willie Cauley-Stein has been drafted by the Sacramento Kings with the No.6 overall pick. The Kings have been in the media all week, after reports of All-Star center Demarcus Cousins was put on the trade block.

Cauley-Stein is freakishly athletic, and he moves laterally very well. Many teams believe he might be able to guard all five positions on the floor. He's also gotten bigger as he has bulked up considerably over the past few months without losing any of the coveted explosiveness. The one concern is on the offensive end and he is pegged as being a one dimensional player.

Willie Cauley-Stein is a rare 3-year Calipari product as he will skip his senior season to enter the draft. He had two opportunities to enter the draft as more of an unfinished product but has helped his draft stock by playing the extra seasons. His junior year consisted of a lot of success and he averaged 8.9 PPG, 6.4 RPG, 1.7 BPG and 1.2 SPG. He actually averaged more blocks in his first two seasons but at 7’1, 242 lbs Cauley-Stein is a what you see is what you get type-player. A good comparison is Tyson Chandler.
