Giants head coach Tom Coughlin told the media that Wilson suffered a "burner" after being escorted off the field by the training staff during practice.

"We were all praying that it would not be an issue, that he would be able to come back and go to work," Coughlin said. "But we'll see."

Wilson had neck surgery last year and has been at the top of the Giants depth chart to start the last two seasons.
