Wincowski Climbing Up Section II Scoring Chart, Shen Holds Off Shaker

Lake George senior standout Joel Wincowski scored 39 more points on Tuesday night as the Warriors topped Hadley-Luzerne by a score of 73-47.

That 39-point output comes on the heels of a 51-point performance on Friday night. Wincowski now has 2,351 career points, just 22 shy of second all-time in Section II. He's also just 53 points behind Jimmer Fredette's all-time Section II scoring record of 2,404. With the regular season over, Wincowski has two guaranteed games left. Lake George will play in the Adirondack League Championship game on Saturday, and then will have at least one sectional game. It's definitely doable.

Shenendehowa, ranked No. 11 by New York State in the latest poll, held off Shaker at Siena College by a score of 59-50. The Shen girls' also won against the Blue Bison. The two teams combined for a 31-1 Suburban Council record this season.
