Turns out the action wasn't over when the camera's shut off following WWE's once a year event, Summer Slam, this past Sunday night. For those who didn't watch the event on Sunday evening, the main event between Brock Lesnar and Randy Orton ended with a vicious elbow to the forehead of Orton from Lesnar. When I say vicious, I don't mean compared to professional wrestling. This was an elbow that Brock brought over in his UFC toolbelt that would split open any human being. Instantly, Orton's head burst like a Gusher, no razor blade needed.

Meanwhile, back stage, Chris Jericho was not impressed. The Wrestling Observer first reported that Y2J became fired up under the assumption that Lesnar took things too far and could have seriously injured his opponent, as he's been accused in his past.

From there it's been reported that Jericho and Lesnar were face to face, each waiting for the other to throw the first punch. Pro Wrestling Insider's Mike Johnson reported that Lesnar told Jericho to either "punch me or kiss me." Both wrestlers became physically tied up and had to be separated on two different occasions.

As it turns out, Chris Jericho acted too quickly...the ending of the match was planned. It just goes to show you that fine line of "fake" and "real" that pro wrestlers have walked for years can be confused by the pro's themselves.

P.S. Don't be surprised if this backstage feud is used for on-screen fodder, as pro wrestling is oh so famous for.
