Jacoby Ellsbury was at bat in the fifth inning while manager Joe Girardi was doing an interview from the dugout in which he was speaking about the importance of keeping Ellsbury healthy when Braves pitcher Julio Teheren hit the Yankees often injured Center Fielder in his right wrist with a 90 MPH fastball.

Ellsbury's pain was clear as he left the game and headed to the hospital all tests came back negative which is good but this is exactly what Yankees fans have come to expect for m Jacoby Ellsbury. Girardi joked that he needed to "keep his mouth shut." Hopefully the 32 year outfielder will be fine for the season. Ellsbury is one of the few Yankees that has actual speed on the basepaths.
