The New York Yankees have traded for All-Star closer Aroldis Chapman from the Cincinnati Reds for three minor leaguers. The Yankees, send minor-league pitchers Caleb Cotham and Rookie Davis and infielders Eric Jagielo and Tony Renda to Cincinnati.

This move comes weeks after Chapman's trade to the Los Angeles Dodgers broke down due  to the closers recent domestic violence allegations.

According to a police report obtained by ESPN, Chapman's girlfriend accused him of pushing and choking her during a verbal altercation that began after she "found something on his phone that she did not like." Chapman told police that he poked the woman on the shoulder and she fell to the ground. The DA's office said, after reports of the incident surfaced, that it was still investigating the incident.

This is far from the typical New York Yankees typical player but, if he is acquitted from these charges he will be a huge boost for the team. With the two studs already in Dellin Betances, and Andrew Miller this team will have a three headed monster.
