Yankees Are Serious Contenders Come October

It’s only mid-June but you can put the Yankees in the same sentence as World Series contenders. This year’s team is way better than anyone thought, even diehard Yankee fans. The home run power is off the charts, and if the pitching can at least be solid, the Yankees are contenders. Aaron Judge is going to cool off, but there are too many players up and down the lineup that can hit for power. And that’s not going to change.

On top of there being no holes in the lineup 1 through 9, the starting pitching has been a revelation. And that's with a struggling Masahiro Tanaka. Luis Severino is arguably the ace of this year's staff and CC Sabathia is showing signs of some sort of renaissance.
