Yankees finally get the great starting pitching they desperately needed and beat the Blue Jays 4-1 on Saturday. CC Sabathia recorded his MLB leading 14th win of the season going 8 innings giving up 3 hits, one run, 3 walks, and striking out 8.

Find out why Hughes' start Sunday will be one of the most anticipated so far this season.

CC has had another Cy Young type season yet again in 2011 as he now has 14 wins while posting great numbers against his opponents. We all know what CC can do for the Yankees and what he brings to the mound for each start. But after that, it is a bit of a dice roll with the rest of the starters. Phil Hughes, who has been on the DL for a couple of months with shoulder inflammation, had a poor start coming back from his rehab outings. The Yankees really need him to be the guy he was the first half of last season, winning 18 games. Otherwise, the Yankees will have to roll the dice amongst him, Garcia, Burnett, and now Colon.

Now prior to this game, Joe Girardi all but accused the Blue Jays of stealing signs during the prior two games in this series. He attributes that kind of behavior/activity to the results of both of those games, with both Bartolo Colon and Freddy Garcia getting hit hard.

"Sometimes we have inclinations that certain things might be happening in certain ballparks and we are aware of it and we try to protect our signs," -Manager Joe Girardi-

The Yankees, again, desperately need starting pitching. A good performance out of Phil Hughes on Sunday will ease some of the concerns. However, another terrible outing will result in more questions being asked about the starting rotation and their chances to succeed in the second half of the regular season.
