Brian Cashman’s first jump went well.  The second jump?  Not so much.  Don’t worry; this video isn’t gruesome or anything.

New York Yankees GM Brian Cashman “heard a pop” on Monday morning following his second skydiving attempt in Tampa.  Anytime you “hear a pop” while skydiving, you’re pretty much screwed.  Cashman suffered a broken right fibula and a dislocated ankle.

Brian Cashman was released from the hospital on Tuesday after undergoing surgery to repair his leg.  Cashman was actually skydiving to raise awareness for the Wounded Warrior project.  The Golden Knights of the U.S. Army were Cashman’s skydiving buddies.  It’s a bummer for Cashman to bust his leg while raising awareness for a good cause.  It’s not like his leg won’t heal though.  He’ll be fine.
