The Major League Baseball Hot Stove season is just about to begin. If you like following the baseball offseason, then this week is the week for you:

The Winter Meetings kick off in Nashville on Sunday, Dec. 6 and last until Dec. 10th. This is where we should start to see more evidence of possible trades and future free agent signings.

The Yankees have some questions surrounding their roster heading into the meetings, but we get some insight here:

This would be the right move. Despite the desire to get younger by the fans and management, Gardner is a guy you have to keep this year. He's the face of the franchise now that Derek Jeter is gone. He's a homegrown player and he plays the game hard. He's the kind of player the Yankees want and need.

Furthermore, with Carlos Beltran and Jacoby Ellsbury always battling health issues, you can't afford to give away Gardner.

Miller is your closer. He was dominant last season when healthy, and despite his hefty contract, he forms one of the best late-game combinations in baseball with Dellin Betances.
