A road trip that started out well continued its downward trend on Friday, as the Yankees lost their fourth straight to the Angels.  After David Adams singled home two in the top of the fourth to give the Yankees a 2-1 lead, the Bronx Bombers failed to score again.  Instead, the Angels netted four unanswered runs and won the game 5-2.

Andy Pettitte started for the Yankees; he went seven innings and gave up four runs.  Chris Bootcheck relieved the veteran lefty and gave up one run in his only inning of work.  For the Angels, C.J. Wilson went seven innings and allowed only two runs.  Ernesto Frieri came on for the save.

On Saturday, the Yankees will be back in Anaheim to try and end the losing the streak.  Game time will be 7:15, and we'll carry it live on 104.5 The Team.
