The Yankees turned in a 4-3 seventh inning lead into a 13-3 rout of the rival Boston Red Sox on Tuesday at Yankee Stadium.

The nine-run inning started with Jacoby Ellsbury reaching on an error, then continued with a walk to Chris Young. Alex Rodriguez singled in Ellsbury to make it 5-3.

Craig Breslow came in and got a strikeout of Mark Teixeira and then Brian McCann did this:

Look at the reaction of Breslow...Priceless.

That made it 8-3, and the Yanks tacked on five more to make it 13-3, with Chris Young providing a three-run homer along the way.

With the win, the Yanks move to 60-45. They are now 5.5 ahead of the Blue Jays in the division. The Yankees will play the Red Sox tonight at 7:05 when rookie Luis Severino makes his major league debut.

Severino, one of the Yanks top prospects, provides Yankee fans much optimism about 2015 and far beyond.
