The New York Yankees got a much needed win in game 2 of their day-night doubleheader against the Baltimore Orioles on Sunday night as they homer their way past the Os 8-3, which included back-to-back-to-back home runs from Robinson Cano, Nick Swisher, and Andruw Jones.

Find out which Yankee is on a historic hot streak, which last happened in 2001.

Quietly Ivan Nova collected his 14th win on Sunday bringing his rookie record to 14-4. This was his 10th straight win, which is the longest winning streak by a Yankee starter since Roger Clemens had 16 in a row in 2001! Nova is certainly making a statement for him to be a big time starter come playoff time.

Curtis Granderson was the star in game 2 as he tacked on two more home runs, bringing his season total to 38 as his MVP-caliber season continues. The Yankees continue to receive major contributions from Nick Swisher and Andruw Jones, who are both swinging a real hot bat as of late.

The Yankees finish up their series against the Orioles Monday night before heading to Boston to play the Red Sox for three games Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
