If the bats show up the pitching doesn't. That seems to be the story of the season. Last night the Yankees scored ten runs thanks to a monster 8th inning against the Colorado Rockies. Sadly the Rockies scored consistently through the entire game and won 13-10 over the Bombers.

So the series of eleven games against "easy' competition starts with a loss. The Yankees look to even this two game series with Ivan "Chevy" Nova on the bump.
