Mason Williams, the 21-year-old outfielder rated by Baseball America as the top prospect in the Yankee organization was arrested  on Thursday morning for appearing to be driving under the influence of alcohol.

Williams is currently an outfielder playing in High-A ball for the Tampa Yankees which is where he was arrested. No exact details have been released just how poorly Williams performed on a sobriety test or if one was even taken.

Williams is also listed by some as a top 30 prospect in all of Baseball. Last year with the Tampa Yankees, Williams hit .277 with three long flies and seven runs batted in. This year so far Williams has impressive numbers with the Tampa Yanks with 19 hits in just 70 at bats.

Tampa police charged Williams with DUI but released no other details. As of right now the Yankees have not issued any statement on the arrest.
