In what is there biggest offseason move so far, the Yankees have traded catcher Jesus Montero to the Seattle Mariners for young pitcher Michael Pineda. The question is now, who benefits the most from this trade.  Pineda is quite the prospect and could really boost the pitching staff.  Seattle was looking for a player like Montero, so right now it looks like both sides made out pretty well.

Pineda will likely pitch behind CC Sabathia and that will be followed up by Ivan Nova and then whoever wins the fourth spot between Phil Hughes, AJ Burnett and Freddy Garcia.  All around good move for New York who needed some youth on their pitching staff and at 22 years old, Pineda will be around for a while.  Unless of course he doesn't deliver and in that case they will send the young fella packing.
