C.C. Sabathia looked a little bit like his old self in last night’s 10-2 win on the road at the Rays.

The (now not so) big lefty tossed seven innings in improving to just 2-7 in Tampa Bay during his Yankee tenure.

But a pitcher always needs a little help from his friends, and C.C. got it last night from his offense and his defense.

Check out this triple play that was turned in behind Sabathia in the second inning. Notice that it was a seemingly-rare "around the horn," not the typical "runners in motion, line drive right at someone, easily doubled and tripled off," kind of play.
