Tonight's game has been postponed due to rain and rescheduled as part of a double header this Sunday. 

The Yankees released the following statement:

 TONIGHT’S YANKEES-PIRATES GAME POSTPONED DUE TO THE CONTINUED FORECAST OF INCLEMENT WEATHER;

WILL BE MADE UP AS THE SECOND GAME OF A SINGLE-ADMISSION DOUBLEHEADER THIS SUNDAY, MAY 18

 The New York Yankees announced that tonight's game between the Yankees and Pittsburgh Pirates at Yankee Stadium has been postponed due to the continued forecast of inclement weather. The game has been rescheduled as the second game of a single-admission doubleheader this Sunday, May 18.

***ONLY TICKETS DATED SUNDAY, MAY 18, WILL BE VALID FOR THE DOUBLEHEADER.***

 ***TICKETS FOR TONIGHT’S ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED GAME (DATED FRIDAY, MAY 16) WILL NOT BE VALID FOR THE DOUBLEHEADER ON SUNDAY***

The first game of the doubleheader will begin at 1:05 p.m. as originally scheduled. The second game will start approximately 30 minutes following the conclusion of the first game. Gates will open to fans with valid tickets at 11:00 a.m.

Fans holding paid tickets for tonight’s game may exchange their paid tickets for any regular season game at Yankee Stadium within 12 months of the postponed game, including this Sunday’s doubleheader (subject to availability).

Complimentary (COMP) tickets for tonight’s game are not valid for any future games. COMP tickets or equivalent tickets bear no cash value and do not have any additional benefits that may be offered to ticket(s) with a dollar value.
