The New York Yankees sit on top of the American League East meanwhile their dreaded rival the Boston Red Sox are in the basement. That means nothing tonight though as the Red Sox have the opportunity to play spoilers and help bring the Yankees back down to Earth. Yankees have a five and a half game lead over the Orioles and Blue Jays, which seems a lot smaller now that the Blue Jays have added Troy Tulowitzki and David Price.

The Red Sox top pitching prospect Henry Owens is taking the bump tonight and the Yankees top pitching prospect Luis Severino pitches tomorrow night.
