Brett Lawrie hit a home run off all-star reliever Dellin Betances in the 10th inning and the A's pulled out a 4-3 win over the Yankees on Tuesday night at Yankee Stadium.

The Yankees surrendered a run in the first inning to fall behind 1-0, but rallied for two runs to make it 2-1 on Brian McCann and Garrett Jones singles.

The A's tied the game in the third on a single by Stephen Vogt, but the Yanks regained control in the fourth on a single by Didi Gregorius.

But that would be it for the Pinstripes scoring. The Yanks bats went silent the rest of the night. Billy Butler tied the game at 3-3 in the sixth inning and Lawrie eventually won it with a go-ahead homer in the 10th.

Nathan Eovaldi pitched for the Yanks and got a no-decision. The hard-throwing righty was unable to go deep into the game again. He lasted 5.1 innings and surrendered six hits.
