Yanks Opener Postponed

Well, we were all ready for baseball season here in the Capital Region, but we will have to wait a little bit longer to see the Yankees in action...

The Yankees will now play the Houston Astros tomorrow afternoon at 1:05 p.m. Pre-game coverage starts at 12:25 right here on 104.5 The Team, Your Home For Yankees Baseball During the 2016 Season.

For the Yanks, Masahiro Tanaka will get the start on the mound. Tanaka had some injury concerns during the offseason and has a history of elbow issues since coming to the United States, but he appears ready to go. He pitched to an ERA of 6.00 this Spring so the Yankees will be looking for better results tomorrow.

For the rest of the Yankees, the questions also surround health. Can Brett Gardner and Jacoby Ellsbury stay healthy and form the outfield duo they are supposed to? Can the rotation stay healthy as well?
