Yasiel Puig Joins Twitter, Twitter Gets A Lot More Fun To Watch
As the Yankees get ready to take on the Los Angeles Dodgers, the eyes of many will be affixed to Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig, the rookie sensation from Cuba who is batting an inhuman .479 in 13 games as a Major League Baseball player. Now, fans can follow him on and off the field, as he just joined Twitter.

I have a feeling that this will become one of the most followed Twitter accounts in Major League Baseball, especially if he continues to play as the reincarnation of Bo Jackson. Also cool is the fact that Puig’s background photo is of himself with Dominican slugger, and New York Yankee, Robinson Cano.
A few weeks ago, I hadn’t even heard of Puig, just like plenty of other baseball fans. However, hearing about him on The Herd with Colin Cowherd alerted me to him, and his explosive Major League debut came shortly after. Now, I am actually considering watching a mid-June baseball game instead of the NBA Finals solely based on how fun to watch Yasiel Puig is.
Puig and the Dodgers take on the Yankees tonight, and you can catch all of the action at 7:05 p.m. on 104.5 The Team ESPN Radio.
