The drama of the NFL Playoffs definitely brings out some intense emotions with fans.  This young 10-year old girl melted down after a tough defeat.

The Seattle Seahawks trailed the Atlanta Falcons 20-0 at halftime on Sunday.  Quarterback Russell Wilson helped bring the Seahawks all the way back.  The Seahawks took a 28-27 lead on a two-yard touchdown run by Marshawn Lynch in the final minute.  Seattle battled back and was sitting pretty with 31 seconds to play.

Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan led Atlanta from its own 28-yard line on a quick two-play drive to set up Atlanta in field goal range.  Matt Bryant kicked a 49-yard field goal to put the Falcons up 30-28.  That’s the way the game ended which led a 10-year old girl to totally break down.  She started crying and yelled, “I hate football,” at her father.

My favorite part is when the father says, “Let’s hug it out.”  The young girl basically says, “There’s no hugging it out in the playoffs, dad.  The Seahawks season is over and my life is ending.”  That’s my read on her emotions at the time.  Oh, well.  That’s the way it goes in the NFL.  The Falcons will host the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship Game at 3:00pm ET on Sunday.
