104.5 The Team Adds Local Show, ‘Capital Region Sports Saturday’

Albany, NY – September 17, 2015

104.5 The Team ESPN Radio (WTMM-FM), the Capital Region’s Home for New York Sports, announced the addition of, “Capital Region Sports Saturday,” hosted by Capital Region Insider Brady Farkas, which will air weekly on Saturday mornings from 9-10 a.m., starting September 19th.

As an Albany native, Farkas has a strong background in local athletics, having been a two-sport athlete at Shenendehowa High School. He is the current pitching coach at RPI and has served in the same capacity at Hudson Valley Community College. He has also worked locally for UAlbany and the Tri-City ValleyCats.

“I can’t wait to get this show started to highlight the accomplishments of deserving and hard-working local players, teams, and programs. I look forward to giving these stories a whole new level of exposure.”

Brand Manager Armen Williams says that the addition of “Capital Region Sports Saturday” further epitomizes the station’s overall message. “Our goal is to connect the listener with local colleges and with Section II athletics. This show will be a great opportunity to continue to do that.”
