There has been a lot of debate over the last few weeks about whether or not baseball stadiums should have protective netting all the way down the foul line, thus totally separating the fans from the field of play.

Obviously, it would keep the fans safer from bats and scorching foul balls, but it would also take away from the fan experience. It would also cause owners to look at ticket prices for that area, and could cost teams money, which we know is not in the cards usually.

Well, I'm not sure if this moment from last night's game is a case "for" or "against" the net idea. On the "for" side, this guy, holding a baby in one hand, should not be going after foul balls.

On the "against" side, he caught it, and the baby was fine as well. So a win-win for both, well, except for the fact that he was called for fan interference.
