The Union Dutchmen of Schenectady made a good run for the NCAA Men's Hockey title this year, but it's cut short with a loss to Ferris State, just one game before the championship.  Ferris State now moves on the face the winner of Boston College and Minnesota in the title game.

Daniel Car was the only one to score for the Dutchmen, who didn't get as many shots on goal as Ferris State, 37-28.  Ferris State's Aaron Schmitt scored twice on his four attempts and the Bulldogs goalie, Taylor Nelson, had 27 saves.  Union goaltender Troy Groesnick had 34 stops.
