There have been a bunch of incentives that are being given across the state if you get a COVID vaccine. Now add Albany Empire football tickets to the list. Albany County is offering for fans to get vaccinated at the Times Union Center on a certain day and you will receive a pair of tickets to a future Albany Empire arena football game according to Spectrum News.

The Albany County De[artment of Health is hoping to get more Capital Region residents vaccinated by holding a vaccination pod on May 29th at the Times Union Center which happens to be the home opener for the Albany Empire. Those who do get their COVID vaccine at this pod on May 29th will get tickets to a future game to see the Albany Empire at the Times Union Center starting on June 12th.

We are super excited that the Albany Empire is returning to the Times Union Center this year. We really missed being able to raise the banner from their championship season. We loved every minute of the two seasons. We even had my son's birthday party there. It was an awesome experience at each and every game. I hope people come out and continue to support the Albany Empire with or without the incentive.

If you have already been vaccinated, they haven't forgotten about you either. You are invited to be part of the vaccine block party that the team will host inside the arena for the very first game of the season.

This is just one of the many creative ways county and state officials are trying to make sure that everyone is able to get vaccinated for COVID-19.
