Glen “Big Baby” Davis Records Song [VIDEO]

Orlando Magic forward Glen “Big Baby” Davis has just recorded a new song entitled “Big Baby Gon’ Turn It Up.” Big Baby might be turning it up, but most listeners will be turning this song off.

This isn’t the greatest song you’ll ever hear by any stretch.  However, I think that a lot of people (including myself) are overly critical of athletes who try to showcase their musical talents. As soon as an athlete releases a song, we instantly become overly critical.

The first YouTube comment I saw underneath Big Baby’s song was “his producer must be deaf.” That comment literally made me laugh out loud, but I don’t think people would be as outspoken if some random nobody did the exact same song as Big Baby. If I released a bad song called “The Capital Region Crawl” complete with a video of me at random locations in Albany, chances are high that I wouldn’t be criticized the same way an athlete would.
