Albany Meteorologist Says Expect Wet and Slushy Thanksgiving in Upstate New York
Capital Region residents might not be in for a major snow storm but they will be in for a wet mess this Thanksgiving.
When we think of snow on holidays Christmas is generally what comes to mind, but we here in the Albany, NY are might be so lucky to see a bit of winter on Thanksgiving. Not that it's out of the question to get a little snow (or a lot of snow in some cases) but it's never something you want on a holiday when you likely have to drive.
We've gotten a few reports from various sources letting us know what we could expect in the Northeast when it comes to snow, but what about right in the middle of the Capital Region?
I decided to go right to my friend Christina Talamo from News Channel 13 to get the details on what we could see this Thanksgiving. Spoiler - it's not great. Wet and slushy is what she told me.

Christina says that if you are planning on traveling to maybe adjust your plans and leave on Wednesday instead of Thursday to avoid any potential problems when it comes to wintery conditions on the road.

She said that they'll keep monitoring it because as you know storms can change as they get closer, but I think we're in for a wet nasty Thanksgiving.
I look at it like this, you're going to be inside cooking all day anyway so it's not like you'll have much to worry about. Plus football will be on and your family will be there to entertain you.
