Capital Region woman arrested for allegedly throwing an unopened can of soda, striking another individual in the face, and causing physical injuries.

If you were to be struck in the face with an unopened can of soda, the impact could cause cuts, bruising, eye injuries, facial fractures, and possibly lead to a concussion. In other words, when used incorrectly, an unopened can of soda could be considered a dangerous weapon.

On Friday December 5th at approximately 11pm, the Saratoga County Sheriffs Office responded to a call regarding a possible active domestic assault incident in the town of Moreau.

Police officers arrived to the scene on Gansevoort Road and conducted an investigation. Officers believe that a female suspect allegedly threw an unopened can of soda at the victim, striking him in the face and resulting in physical injury. No word on which brand of soda was used in this incident.

The Saratoga County Sheriff's office announce the arrest of 42-year-old Jessica D. Tucker of Glens Falls, NY. Tucker is accused of intentionally causing physical injury to another person by means of a dangerous instrument. She is also accused of committing a specified offense having been convicted of a specified offense within the last 5 years.

In others words, it appears, Jessica Tucker may have committed this same crime before, in the last 5 years.

Tucker is being charged with:

  • Assault in the 2nd degree (Class D felony)
  • Aggravated family offense (Class E felony)
