The Saratoga Springs Heritage Area Visitor Center has kicked off its much-anticipated 2024 guided trolley tours, offering visitors a delightful way to explore the historic charm of Saratoga Springs.
These 90-minute tours are available every Tuesday and Thursday at 10 a.m. until August 29th, making them a perfect summer activity. Each tour costs $25 per person and promises an engaging journey through Saratoga's rich history.
As you ride through the city, you'll be treated to fascinating stories and insights about notable landmarks. The tour covers highlights such as the bustling Broadway, the stately homes on North Broadway, the picturesque Skidmore College campus, and the serene High Rock Park, where you'll even get to sample the famous mineral water. Of course, no tour of Saratoga Springs would be complete without a visit to the iconic Saratoga Race Course.
The trolleys are a charming nod to the past, featuring authentic wooden seating and intricately etched glass windows. Modern comforts haven't been overlooked, with air conditioning to keep you cool and a wheelchair lift to ensure accessibility for everyone.
To secure your spot, it's a good idea to make an advanced reservation by calling 518-587-3241.
