National Weather Service Issues Hazardous Weather Outlook Monday
According to the National Weather Service (NWS), cold and the chance of snow will return Monday as snow squalls which could create "whiteout conditions and hazardous travel." Snow squalls will be mostly focused in the Mohawk Valley, but surrounding areas in the Capital Region and Upstate New York could see them as well.
NWS has issued a hazardous weather outlook saying "Snow squalls could bring a brief period of heavy snow with a quick half inch to inch of snow accumulation along with gusty winds and poor visibility, resulting in hazardous travel. This could affect the Monday evening commute in some areas."

As we get further into the work-week, WNYT says Tuesday and Wednesday will be breezy and colder with highs in the 20s, with the potential for more lake effect snow.
