
Where’s Spring? More Snow In Upstate New York This Week
We have only gotten a small taste of spring with more chilly weather and snow in the Upstate New York forecast this week.
We know that March comes in like a lino and goes in like a lamb, but as we get into the second weekend it seems the same applies to April. The lamb has yet to show up yet!
More Snow In Upstate New York Forecast This Week
The chilly weather will continue for the next few days with a little bit of snow, and the National Weather Service (NWS) says Upstate New York will not get near 60 degrees again until early next week.
Areas north and west of the Capital Region can expect anywhere from 1 to 3 inches of snow through Friday according to the NWS snowfall prediction map below:
In the Albany area this week NWS says we can expect a high of 35 Tuesday with a chance of snow showers. Snow showers will linger Tuesday night with a low of 25. We will also have a chance of snow & rain showers on Thursday with a high of 47.
Temperatures will start to warm up into the 50s this weekend with a high of 63 forecast for Monday.
