Syracuse women's lacrosse player Kayla Treanor is among the most accomplished players in the entire country. The two-time Tewaaraton Award finalist is back at it again this year for the Orange, leading the team in points with 57. She also has 35 goals.

The Orange are ranked No. 4 in the nation and are primed for a deep NCAA run out of the ACC.

This past week though, Treanor, the Niskayuna native, got a chance to return home as the Orange traveled to Albany to play the Great Danes. Syracuse won the game, 8-7, and Treanor scored a goal in her homecoming.

Treanor had the chance to play in front of several hometown fans, including multiple local high school teams.

She joined us today to talk about the return to the Capital Region, her fan support, her team success and her individual accomplishments.
