Senator Harry Reid channeled his inner Bryce Harper when he recently made a funny statement.

Nevada Senator Harry Reid made a funny statement at a press conference on Tuesday.  Reid jokingly quipped, "That's a clown question, bro."  Washington Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper recently responded to a question from a reporter by making the statement, "That's a clown question, bro."  (Audio below)

Reid is the Senate Majority Leader in Nevada where Bryce Harper was born.  Reid's statement was basically a  mini shout-out to Bryce Harper.  Senator Reid elected not to complete the shout-out with a clenched fist to the chest, but nevertheless, it was still a shout-out.  Good job, Harry.  It was a funny moment, you funny man, you.

I'm going to have to keep this statement in my back packet for the "Crosstalk" on 104.5 The Team, ESPN Radio.  Bruce Jacobs (host of "Game On" 3-7pm ET) sometimes asks me some zany and off-the-wall questions during the "Crosstalk" (3-3:30pm ET).  I might have to channel my inner Bryce Harper also and hit him with this popular phrase.  We'll see.
