They might as well start calling it the Tom Morr Award. For the third straight week to start the season and sixth time in the last year plus, Morr has been named the MAAC Defensive Player of the Week.

Morr continues to be a game-changer in goal for the Saints and had another big time performance over the weekend on the road at Big East foe St. John’s. The senior captain made 14 saves, stopping 63.6% of the shots he faced while also picking up three groundballs.

So far this season, Morr leads the nation averaging 15.3 saves per game and his .622 save percentage ranks sixth nationally.

Morr and the Saints return to action Saturday at Binghamton at 1 p.m.
