Hours after the Oakland Raiders topped the Houston Texans for a thrilling 25-20  win on Sunday, speculation swirled around who will run the NFL franchise after the passing of its iconoclastic owner Al Davis, who died Saturday in Oakland at age 82.

The often controversial and outspoken owner of the Oakland Raiders has passed away at the age of 82.  No cause of death yet determined.

Many people have criticized Oakland Raiders owner Al Davis for making several curious decisions.  Former Raiders head coach and current USC head coach Lane Kiffin turned up the heat a notch by blasting Davis.

We were treated recently to an Al Davis press conference  - here are my reactions on what went on.

Gotta love the Raid-ahhhs.  The Oakland Raiders were noticeably better with Tom Cable as their head coach.  They were improving.  It doesn't make sense to fire him.  The Raiders don't exactly specialize in making sense though.
