It seems that there is always drama circling horse racing trainer and legend Bob Baffert but after winning his record seventh Kentucky Derby with Medina Spirit the drama is stronger than ever. We spoke to NYRA's Andy Serling and horse racing insider Dick Jerardi to try to make sense of Derby winner Medina Spirit's failed drug test and if it'll have an effect on the 146th running of the Preakness Stakes this Saturday. Both insiders took a similar stance.

With the Kentucky Derby just days away we reached out to NYRA's Andy Serling. This year Serling will be at Churchill Downs for the Derby. As a matter of fact, he was actually on the train beginning his journey there when we caught up with him. The 151st running of the Travers is this Saturday at the Saratoga Race Course. Even though fans will not be in attendance there's still plenty of reasons to watch. The biggest of those reasons is Sakatoga Stables' Tiz The Law. Tiz The Law is the first New York-bred horse to win the Belmont Stakes since Forester in 1882. Having a homegrown talent be a favorite and potentially winning on his way to a Triple Crown plus the Travers is pretty awesome.
