Another longtime Albany establishment will close its doors this week. It has been a staple on North Pearl Street for seventeen years.

A sports bar that was a staple in Albany for twenty years suddenly closed late last year and it looks like a new upscale sports bar will be opening soon.

Pauly's Hotel is one of Albany's oldest taverns. It has been in existence since 1862 and has been completely overhauled and refurbished. It has always had live bands and shows but has gone downhill over the past fifteen to twenty years. Now with a new owner, that is all changing for the better.
