According to the Associated Press, Major League Baseball has informed the New York Yankees that third baseman Alex Rodriguez will be suspended as of Monday.

According to Yahoo! Sports, the majority of Major League Baseball players involved in the Biogenesis PED scandal are ready to accept suspensions of at least 50 games.

Major League Baseball is expected to suspend those involved with Biogenesis this week.  That of course includes Alex Rodriguez.  How many games do you think A-Rod will be suspended for?  Vote here:

Pete Rose was banned from baseball on August 24, 1989 by then-commissioner Bart Giamatti for placing high stakes bets within the game, and even for and against his own team he managed, the Cincinnati Reds.  Rose is still banned from baseball and Hall of Fame induction.

A-Rod and the Yankees are at it again.  Rodriguez reached out to New Jersey doctor Michael Gross and sent copies of his MRI exam which the Yankees stated was a grade one quad strain.  Gross said there was no injury and that A-Rod should be playing...

Citing Major League Baseball sources, Jim Axelrod of CBS Evening News reports that Alex Rodriguez could be dealt a lifetime ban for using performance-enhancing drugs through Biogenesis.

Major League Baseball is likely to suspend Alex Rodriguez and many others after next week's All-Star break for their roles in Biogenesis, according to ESPN reports.  The suspension is going to be 100 games according to those reports.  Will Alex Rodriguez play another game in a Yankee uniform, after this suspension and all the turmoil and scandal surrounding him...

Alex Rodriguez is a clown.  He is a fraud.  He is a broken-down steroid user.  He is a cheater.  He is bad for baseball.  He is downright horrible for the Yankees.  And, like the 5th grade student in the back of the room who can't stop annoying the teacher, he is a bad boy with bad behavior.

ESPN investigative reporters T.J. Quinn and Mike Fish have reported that a previously elusive figure in the Biogenesis PED scandal, Porter Fischer, has spoken out, saying that Yankee Alex Rodriguez sought help from clinic head Tony Bosch last year during the American League Championship Series when A-Rod was slumping with a 1-9 mark.

Biogenesis has the potential to be the worst PED scandal in Major League Baseball history.  Clinic owner Tony Bosch is said to be cooperating with Major League Baseball officials and giving them information and documents of all users, which is at least 20 players but could be up to 50-75...
