Last night the world was shocked as Robinson Cano took down the first Home Run Derby for a New York Yankee since Tino Martinez. This guy had his dad tossing him meatballs, which is freaking genius. I can’t believe no one has done this before, who would have tossed you the most BP in your life other then your freaking baseball coach father...

Monday night's MLB Homerun Derby came down to a battle of Yankees vs. Red Sox.  And it was all Bronx Bombers. Robinson Cano had a championship quality night setting off some serious fireworks in Arizona.

Robinson Cano will compete in the State Farm Home Run Derby next Monday.  His teammate Mark Teixeira declined an invite by David Ortiz for a legitimate reason.
