Hope Solo is not just a part of the Women's US Soccer team, she's a key part. That shouldn't be a factor in her punishment but it just might be. Hope Solo continues to make "poor decisions" that should and most likely would result in a suspension...

All these things are strnage but not as strange as some of the stuff away from the games that we enjoy watching...

While soccer isn’t nearly as popular here as it is in other parts of the world, it seems to get its due in the US during the Olympics, at least. And when the women’s national soccer team won gold after a hotly-contested battle against Brazil at the 2008 Games in Beijing, its members became superstars.

Hope Solo says the U.S. women's team didn't choke against Japan in the World Cup Final.  Her logic might be worse than her voice.
