The New York Knicks have fired head coach David Fizdale. The debate as to how much of this terrible 4-18 start is truly his fault can happen another time. Right now I'm trying to think of anyone that might actually stand a chance of turning the Knicks into a winning basketball team in the near future. Here are the five candidates I'd like to see coach the Knicks.

Jeff Van Gundy was part of the broadcast team calling the Sun/Mavericks game when the topic of "the Masters" came up. Jeff made a comment about the former segregation policy of Augusta National that clearly caught everyone off guard.  

If you are P.J. Carlesimo you can't feel all bad if his former team lands Phil Jackson can you? I mean replaced by the all time winningest coach in basketball history if Jackson takes the Nets millions. 1 day after showing P.J. the door the Brooklyn Nets have started the process of finding the biggest name they can to replace Carlesimo...

Ok let's say you are a bitter Orlando Magic fan then you might not care about this. But if you love the NBA and love an entertaining broadcast booth oh do I have a nugget for you. If I were ABC executives right now, ESPN big wigs, heck TNT poo Bahs I know who I would be talking to right now...

Jeff Van Gundy got on his soapbox regarding flopping in the NBA.  I couldn't agree with Van Gundy more.

Paul Pierce was ejected from a 99-90 Game 1 loss to the Miami Heat on Sunday.  The ejection was a complete joke.  Did the officials not get the memo that the NBA Playoffs have started?
