The former second round draft pick will not be franchise tagged by the organization

A day that shouldn't of really focused on the New York Giants, especially their locker room habits has taken a big time turn for Giants's fans. A major debate has erupted revolving around Safety Landon Collins, is his locker empty and what does that mean? ESPN reporter Josina Anderson Tweeted he had emptied his locker.

The New York Giants shocked some people in this year's NFL Draft when they passed up Quarterbacks like Sam Darnold, Josh Rosen and Josh Allen to take a Running Back with the second overall pick of the draft. Many times this season Rookie RB Saquon Barkley has shown the skill level the Giants expected from him and now he's been selected to the NFL Pro Bowl.

Landon Collins has given the Giants a bit of a concern.

The Giants found out on Thursday that safety Nat Berhe would be out for a significant amount of time, the fourth defensive back to go down for the year in less than two weeks.

The Giants have more problems at safety than they even thought, with two injuries at the position from Friday's first pre-season game.

New York Giants rookie Landon Collins has been paying tribute to Sean Taylor ever since his unfortunate passing back in 2007.  Collins had asked Giants cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie if he could have the number, stating his reason, Rodgers-Cromartie obliged.  Collins was awarded the #21 as he wears in honor of his football idol Sean Taylor.

Landon Collins is a top-notch safety who verbally committed to Alabama on Thursday night.  His mother didn't approve of the selection.  I love the honesty.
