FINALLY a winning week last week for my locks! After going 2 - 1 in week four I doubled my season win total and now have a record of 4 - 8. Sorry for the slow start my friends but this is a sign of things to come! I feel strong and I feel like I'm about to hit my stride and start making Rivers Sportsbook regret opening back up! Week 5 I'm focusing on teams with something to prove!

I honestly feel like I'm the best 2 - 7 NFL handicapper in the game! Wow that sounds even worse then when we say it about actual football teams. I'm fresh out of excuses and off to my worst start to an NFL season EVER! A lesser man would take his ball and go home or at least remove the word "Locks" from his title but WAS IT OVER WHEN THE GERMANS BOMBED PEARL HARBOR?! NO! And it's not over now. i tried going with my heart last week and that STUNK. So this week I'm going with my gut ( it's way bigger anyway).

As the old saying goes "the bigger the setback, the greater the comeback!" Not super happy with my first two week's "Locks" as I am a putrid 1 - 5. The only bright side is I loved the Seattle Seahawks last week (my ONLY win) so I went BIG and rebounded. That also means I'm technically in a win streak. I'm going with my heart and betting on teams that have heart in week 3 of the NFL season.

Just like Indianapolis Colts quarterback Phillip Rivers (pictured above) I had a rough week one to the NFL season. Rivers threw two costly interceptions on his way to being outdueled by Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Gardner Minshew. An upset that ended MANY survivor pools for NFL fans everywhere. Just like Rivers, I couldn't win either. I went 0 - 3 to start the season and now I shall look to rebound in week two.

I already feel like a winner just having the 2020 NFL season kicking off but since The Rivers Casino and Sportsbook is opening today at 6 pm it seems rude to not go win their money. Last year I finished with 32 wins 24 losses and 3 pushes meaning if you bet $100 every one of my Locks you would have made $740. I'm not mad at that but I want more! So here we go with week One Locks, fan-free just like most NFL stadiums.

With only three NFL games left to bet on this season I'm hoping for a very strong finish. The AFC and NFC Conference Championship games are this Sunday and both games have at least a seven point spread. We go into this weekend with a 30 - 23 - 3 record. The Wild Card Round worked out well for us with a 3 - 1 record. That makes me 28 - 21 - 3 on the season. If I can keep this up it'll be an even more Super Super Bowl. The NFL Playoffs are already here! I feel like this season has flown by at break-neck speed. Took a little hiatus in week 17 but went 3 - 0 in week 16 to end the regular season with a 25-20-3 record. Last week might be the most mediocre week EVER! ONE win, ONE loss and ONE push meaning my season record is now 22 - 20 - 3. I feel like I need way more Death Wish Coffee as I prepare for the Week 16 games. Truth is if I can finish strong for the final two weeks of the regular season and the playoffs I can finish with a decent amount of cash in my pocket.

Time again to break down the week's NFL action without breaking down our bankroll. Last week ended my hot streak with a 0 - 2 - 1 outing. So my season total is a very unremarkable 21 - 19 - 2. Time to go back to what has been working for me this season, backing the road teams.
